Wether you visit the region on buisness or on vacation, you will enjoy your stay at the ferryman's house in Mainz-Kostheim.

The renovated ferryman's house is part of the lively history of the area. Situated right in between the rivers Rhein and Main, it was the home of rich ferrymen, who brought their goods to the delta of the river Main. Here they were sold to other ferrymen who travelled up the river Rhein towards Cologne and Amsterdam.

In this area of early trade, the ferrymen built their houses, which where their homes for the few days of their stay in Mainz.

Experience the romantic athmoshere and the village-like character that Mainz-Kostheim has kept until today. The small house is located within the regional recreation area of "Regionalpark Rhein-Main", close to the capital cities of Mainz and Wiesbaden. The financial center Frankfurt can be reached within an hour.

Restaurants, winerys and supermarkets in town will make your stay very enjoyable.
